The story of Puso For You begins with a single word that carries a world of meaning. In Tagalog, the word "Puso" means "Heart." For us, "Puso" is more than just a name; it is the blueprint for how we serve.
In 2016, Gigi Manalo Ybañez, a Philippine-American descendant of Tanay, Rizal, visited her homeland to fulfill a lifelong dream of building a future retirement home. But God had a different plan. Her journey took a pivotal turn after meeting with two honorable men who highlighted the deeper needs of the local "Tanayans":
Moved by these encounters, Gigi was encouraged to convert her retirement investment into a place of worship—the "Puso For You" Mission Home—and a dedicated community center.
Today, Gigi and her husband share a common purpose to build out the Puso For You Center. Together, with the help of others passionate about bringing hope, health, and spiritual light to Tanay, Rizal, they are turning this vision into a reality.
As we serve through medical care and social services, we are inspired by the Greatest Commandment: to love God, love our neighbors, and make disciples of all nations. Through our Puso Partners and Puso Providers, we hope to fellowship with and influence others toward a lasting faith in Jesus Christ.

The journey began when Gigi met with two honorable men:
Gigi was then encouraged and moved to convert a retirement investment into a place of worship, a faith-based “Puso For You” mission home, and develop a community center. The church will serve as the center place for worship and fellowship, and mission work.

Our mission is to inspire hope and contribute to the individual’s physical health, mental well-being, and overall empowerment through services rooted in Christian compassion. We aim to serve the underserved by breaking down systemic barriers to health and opportunity.
We recognize the critical need for immediate, accessible care. With the nearest hospital over an hour away, the Puso For You Urgent Care Clinic will serve as a life-saving triage and essential care hub for the community—all provided free of charge.
Adjacent to the clinic, the Community Center will serve as a vital resource hub dedicated to restoring dignity and building self-sufficiency in the community:
Target Date for Completion: Year 2028
On December 16, 2021, a super typhoon roared ashore on the island of Siargao, Philippines. It brought winds of 120mph and heavy rainfall. The aftermath of the typhoon affected 11 regions, killing 375 people, and displacing 600,000 across the country. Unfortunately, help has not reached the poorest of the poor.
On March 29, 2022, Puso For You made it safely to Siargao. We distributed rice, corned beef and cup of noodles to the Siargaon families that were in greatest need. We were humbled by their beautiful smiles and grateful hearts.
Because of your donation, each family has received four (4) pounds of rice, one (1) can of corned beef, and four (4) packets of noodle soup. The total cost of a bag of these goods was six dollars ($6.00).
On behalf of Puso For You, we thank you for creating a hopeful tomorrow for the people of Siargao.
For many, Christmas Eve (Noche Buena) is a celebration marked by abundance—turkey, ham, and festive feasts shared with family. But for the poorest of the poor in the communities we serve, the reality is often very different: a quiet night marked by hunger.
At Puso For You, we believe that the true spirit of Christmas is found in sharing, fellowship, and ensuring that no heart feels forgotten on this sacred night.
Every December, our mission is to bring light and provision to the community through our special Noche Buena distribution. One Sunday morning, following worship service at the local church Puso For You helped establish, the true meaning of Christmas comes alive through a simple yellow bag.
Inside this bag, there are no extravagant prime cuts, but something far more valuable: staples like pasta, canned meat, and fresh bread. These simple provisions—delivered with love and a smile—are not just ingredients; they are a sign of hope, a moment of dignity, and the promise of a meal that families can share together.
This yearly event is made possible through incredible partnership. Dedicated volunteers travel all the way from Los Angeles, California to stand side-by-side with the local church, demonstrating that the love of Christ knows no distance.
The visible smiles on the faces of the recipients, knowing they have been seen and cared for during the holiday, are the greatest rewards. Your support allows us to continue bringing this essential heartfelt meal—this Noche Buena—to those who need it most, truly living out the command to feed His sheep.
We humbly ask that you find it in your heart to make an annual commitment to this sacred tradition. Every year, before Christmas, your dedicated donation ensures we can continue to purchase the provisions needed to deliver this essential, heartfelt meal to those who need it most. By committing to giving, you ensure that the warmth of Christmas dinner reaches every hungry heart.
The mission of Puso For You is simple: to put God's love into action by providing free medical care, emotional support, and empowerment services to those who have nowhere else to turn. Every project, from establishing the local church to planning our life-saving Urgent Care Clinic, is driven by the deepest conviction of faith.
We want to share a truth with you, not out of complaint, but out of necessity: Up to this point, the mission of Puso For You has been entirely funded by the personal resources of our founders. We poured our hearts, time, and finances into this work because the need was immediate and the calling was undeniable.
However, to move forward with the Urgent Care Clinic and Community Center—to truly break ground and reach every family waiting for help—we need to grow our circle of compassion. We can no longer sustain this mission alone. It is time to trust the Lord to move through the generous hearts of others.
You might feel that your donation is too small to impact a massive project like a clinic or a community center. We assure you: nothing could be further from the truth.
In God's economy, the smallest gift, given with a pure heart, is magnified. Your offering is more than a transaction; it is a seed of hope planted in barren ground.
Every single contribution—no matter the size—is the fuel that ensures we can reach our Target Date for Completion in 2028 and continue our existing Noche Buena and outreach programs.
When you choose to give, you are participating in a divine promise. You are acting out the Gospel and trusting God with your resources, and He promises to honor that faith.
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." - Luke 6:38 (NIV)
We invite you to step out in faith with us. By partnering with Puso For You, you are demonstrating your faith in action and ensuring that healing, hope, and dignity reach the most vulnerable among us.
Thank you, in advance, for your good heart and your belief in the transformative power of God’s love.
With Puso,
Alan and Gigi Yamada
